Appearance -> Menu (to make sure that the Mega Menu settings are appearing – click on Screen Options):
Enable the Mega Menu.
After doing this, you should see the following red rectangle when hovering on a menu item:
Clicking on it will make the following sreen appear, where you can add items by dragging and dropping them onto the grid.
